The Chamber of Commerce is governed by a 10-member Board of Directors which is elected by the membership. 

The Chamber of Commerce exist to support and grow business in the community they serve, and they are essential to economic growth. It is crucial to stand out and go the extra mile to engage members. Board of Directors provides supervision, leadership, direction, assistance and support to the Executive Director and staff. This usually involves strategic planning – defining and clarifying the organizations mission, vision, strategic direction, and goals.

The Board of Directors has a responsibility to provide encouragement and support for their Executive Director, and may also serve as a sounding board” or coach.
