Operation Facelift: The Conclusion
Operation Facelift in Jerome is complete, and it was an awesome success! The volunteers and donors that made this a success really stepped up to the plate. Overall, we had over 100 people from within the community that either volunteered their time, donated cash, or donated supplies for this project. In the initial stages of planning, the Jerome Operation Facelift committee designated four buildings on West Main Street that sit-by-side to receive the “facelift.” These buildings are located next to Jerome Floral, and the change is dramatic (take a look at the before and after photos on Facebook). The committee has also agreed to continue Operation Facelift for later this year, and we will choose several more buildings that we will give a “facelift” to in September. On behalf of the Operation Facelift team in Jerome, I want to say “thank you” for all of those that came forward to be a part of this project.
