The "Albers" family, having immigrated to California from the Netherlands, founded "Albers Mfg. Co., Inc.", in 1948. Since that time we have continued in the family tradition, proud of the fact that we have reached and surpassed 60 years of service to the dairy industry. Over those 60 years, we have provided and continue to provide innovative ideas that have made the dairyman's business more manageable and efficient. Most notable of our contributions is the recognition as being the "originator" of the self-locking stanchion. We are now in our third generation, and look forward to many more years of service to the industry. While primarily servicing the Western States for the first 40 years, the past 20 years has brought a large demand for our products in all dairy regions throughout the United States. Due to strong growth in the industry and increasing demand, ALBERS DAIRY EQUIPMENT has now opened branch-stocking offices in Idaho, New Mexico, Texas, Wisconsin, New York, and most recently, Rock Valley, Iowa. These offices are part of our continued commitment to better serve our expanding base of loyal customers nationwide. We also continue to ship internationally on a regular basis. We wish to thank all of our past, present, and future customers for their loyal support, and hope that we may be of service to you in the future. Contact: Ted Albers Sr./John Albers

In 2009, three of the largest independently owned and operated dairies in the United States joined forces to bring a new level of quality and reliability to the milk products industry. Today, Idaho Milk Products stands alone as the industry's leading innovator in state-of-the-art milk processing.   Idaho Milk Products is a wholly owned stand-alone business in which the owner dairies provide guaranteed large scale milk supply from the milking operations into the plant operations. Our high quality and technically advanced dairies currently produce over 2.55 billion pounds of milk annually. The Idaho Milk Products plant is designed to bring in and convert 1.1 billion pounds of this annual total amount. Our milking partners are within forty-five minutes of the production facility. That unique proximity to our massive dedicated milk supply means that under normal operating procedures, Idaho Milk Products can transition raw milk at our milking parlors to final packaging within approximately twenty-four hours. Many other major suppliers can't even start processing their raw milk supply before it's over twenty-four hours old.   From our inception, we've adhered to our core belief that the freshest, most consistent milk product ingredients lead to the best tasting end products. To best meet our freshness goals, we worked with the leading designers  and builders of dairy processing plants in the United States, as well as top processing equipment suppliers. Today, we continue our partnerships with some of the leading universities in dairy research and education, including the Western Dairy Research Center at Utah State University, the Hungarian Dairy Research Center, the Center for Dairy Research at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.   As with all dairy processing, maintaining freshness is key. For Idaho Milk Products, freshness begins on our farms. The milk brought into the plant is split into its macro-nutrient components: protein, carbohydrates, fat and water through a series of steps utilizing standard dairy technologies but in new and innovative ways. The fat is separated and sold as IdaPro Cream, the protein is concentrated, dried and sold as IdaPro Milk Protein Concentrate (MPC) at protein levels of 70, 80, and 85 percent, and the carbohydrate is concentrated, crystallized, dried and sold as IdaPro Milk Permeate Powder.   Contact: Kent Giddings
