Jon Melone is originally from San Diego, CA, and moved to the Magic Valley with his family several years ago. He has been married to his wife Tina for 29 years, and has two grown daughters, one of whom is married to a native Jerome man. Jon is blessed with two beautiful grandchildren, a two year old granddaughter, and a newborn grandson.
As the Executive Director, Jon brings to the Jerome Chamber of Commerce a great wealth of business experience. Jon has 17 years of experience as an administrator within higher education and other ventures. He was also the founder and owner of Vinifera Wines, a wine bar and retail wine shop that was situated in historic downtown Twin Falls. Jon sold his successful business, and was then offered a position as the Sommelier at Canyon Crest Dining and Event Center, where he was one of the original managers. Jon looks forward to his new role with the Chamber of Commerce, and working to enhance the business community of Jerome.
